Why is the output always PNG and not JPG?
JPG does not support transparency. A circle crop requires the areas outside the circle to be transparent — only PNG (and WebP) can represent this. If you save it as JPG, the background becomes solid white or black, destroying the circular shape.
How do I center the subject of my photo in the circle?
